St. Kieran's Closing
St. Kieran's Catholic Church in Heckscherville closed on July 12th, 2008 with a last mass. Matthew Nolan was an active member of the church since it's inception in 1857. I am confident he was present at Saint John Newman's visits to the church and with Matthew's background as a laborer, he most likely helped in the construction of the St. Kieran's Catholic Church.
